Band Bio's
James "Papahawg" Avena is a talented Guitarist as well as a vocalist. He has been in such bands as Wett Wreckless, Da' Hawgs, Got 2 Groove, The Fender Benderz and Sweet Daddy & The Bad Cats. James has over thirty years experience in the music industry and shows no signs of slowing down.
John Diaz Jr. has been there from the beginning with JJ Hawg. With a huge thundering sound he adds the boom to the band's sound. The band is often asked where the other five members are hiding because JJ Hawg puts out a lot of sound for three.
John Michael love's music! He grew up playing drums all his life, opening for many huge artist along the way. His pro level of music brings some awesome drumming to JJ Hawg. He love's being a radio personality on 104.3 The Hippo in Monterey,and he love's performing drums with his musical brothers...and boy he love's to laugh!!! I BELIEVE IN YOU! I BELIEVE IN ME!!!
